Toastercat

Toastercat... my greatest creation... A cat, and a toaster, and the butt of another cat, it is truly a sight to behold. The strongest technical aspect of my work is definitely the toaster cat, I don't like the rest of the kitchen though it looks awful and fake and honestly it needs more counter space. I know what you are thinking... why does he not have laser beams shooting out of his eyes? All toaster cats have laser vision... yes that is true but why would he be shooting something in his own house? Idiot, yea you feel dumb now don't you? It's okay. If you are wondering yes the toast does come out with tuna imprints, because toaster kitty loves tuna.

Seriously though warping and texture blending was a lot of fun and probably one of the most versatile tools on photoshop. I really wish I had more time to polish it up a little more but I am pretty proud of what I have.

Original Cereal Box

This is my cereal, it is based on other cereal boxes and uses it in a satirical way to insult cereal box stereotypes... and the word cereal in general... it sounds funny :P

Cereal's use all these strategies to advertise themselves and market themselves as better cereal, when in reality no one cares because it tastes good. Things like taking dramatic pictures of their cereal, this exampled by the generic stock photo.

I also make use of common cereal myths such as they are made of pencil shavings, and I make fun of the fact that all cereal these days uses genetically modified organisims because it is cheap and the FDA is literally broken like my social interaction skills.

The strongest aspect of my work is eating tons of cereal and understanding the essence of cereal, then recreating it. The weakest aspect was definitely cutting it out, I did an awful job on the printed model.

In conclusion, Mr. Etter should buy me cereal because he knows this is the best piece of art he has ever laid witness to. kneel before me.

Polaroid is Dead

The title says it all, satire is the best. That's the best aspect of this whole piece honestly. It's also the only good aspect of this piece.

I used lots of cutting strategies and fill into stuff and all the usual stuff that I was told to use, don't worry Mr. Etter. I only found it particularly difficulty when making things pop out of the frame, because most of the time it wouldn't look realistic unless it was absolutely perfectly cut, and even then some parts of the dog were not suited for popping out, I tried to make the little dog's face pop out but it was way too wrinkly and it just came out looking funny even after i traced all the wrinkles.

I'm not sure what else to write, also if you're reading this hi mom :)

Tattoo Art

This is my arm. I decided to get a bunch of tattoos of little demons and angels on my arm obviously because I am not sane. It is an awful idea to ever get this and now look I have the Leviathan cross on my wrist so now I just look like some evil person, I'd have to always roll my sleeves up so people can see the sacred heart of Jesus so they know I'm not a demon worshipper. Awful tattoo design 0/10. But it represents the demons or something that can come into our lives and the evil would climb up my arm but Jesus saved me. woo for symbolism :) Thanks Jesus.

I was able to use the burn and dodge tools to add a lighten and darken effect to the little people so it really looks like it wraps around my arm. I also used slight warping for most of them but without the proper lighting it looked really unnatural, and all layers were also opacified to around 70%. The demons and the cat who are mainly made up of black, have the darken effect applied so the white is actually completely transparent.

So in conclusion. cats are fluffy and I like turtles :)

This is my second composition, I used all the tools I have learned to create a scene of our human world being in the hands of fate. While it can look overwhelming at first it is actually very simple, here you can see Tron Cat piloting a F7C-M Super Hornet while marking the world with communism. Then you can see the Doctor stopping a nuke that is hurting towards earth.

Photoshop Basics

The strongest technical aspect of my work is the ability to use gradients and other effects to make the art have texture and pizzaz. I feel like i could definitely improve on color variety and color picking and colors and stuff.

The easiest part of this art project was converting the Photoshop file to a JPEG, all I had to do was hit save as and drag a slider to maximum quality. On the other hand, the hardest part was trying to actually use photoshop to make art, the UI is horrible I would have better luck in a hedge maze.

I was able to use layers and effects to create some sort of art thing i guess. But if I had to do it over again, I would definitely actually meet the requirements next time.
